This course is designed to give students a professional qualification recognised by the beauty industry. Students will develop skills in relation to a wide range of facial, body and complementary therapies. They will also gain in depth product knowledge and be able to offer clients' lifestyle advice.
Other topics covered include make-up for special occasions and spa treatments. As part of the programme, students get the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience through working in the College’s commercial salon.

Graded Unit 2; Work Placement
NC Beauty Care or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and research task. Students must be 17 and will be required to purchase relevant items of equipment and clothing.
