This course combines the theoretical aspects of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, with the principles and practices relevant to the modern chemical and process industries.

Year 1:
Principles of Chemical Engineering; Process Chemistry; Laboratory Skills; Fundamental Chemistry; Heat Transfer; Distillation; Engineering mathematics; Physical/Organic/Inorganic Chemistry; Project/Research work.

Year 2:
Advanced level Chemistry; Advanced level Chemical Engineering; Project/Research work.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including Chemistry + 4 subjects at National 5 including English and Maths; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and a maths and practical test.
