This course provides fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to progress within the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The Course includes:

Mathematics Craft 1 and 2; Engineering: Information Technology; Communications; Electrical Principles; Fundamental Electronics and Electrical Systems; Electronic and Electrical Testing and Measurement; Practical Electronics; Electrical Wiring Skills; Transformation and Rectification; Rotating Electrical machines; Electricity in the Home; Combinational Logic; Engineering Project.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English and Maths at B and preferably Physics at B; or NC Electronic Engineering; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview and aptitude test.

HNC Electrical Engineering.
