This acting and performance course gives you an introduction to acting and performance skills and should be seen as the first of three years of continuous training. It concentrates on the key skills of acting, voice, movement and production.

Modules: Acting; Production; Voice; Movement; Theatre History; Group Singing Skills; Acting Styles and Practitioners; and Creative Project.

There is also technical work and Front of House training included in the course.

Please note that during production blocks, you will be expected to work additional hours outwith the conventional college day.

Assessment is continuous with a mixture of practical and theoretical assessments. There is no final examination.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry qualifications. Entry is by audition.
