Kickstart your creative journey! Learn to craft content for multiple media, master tech basics, and collaborate on real projects. Pitch ideas, solve problems, and build teamwork skills. Hands-on learning, minimal writing—your creativity takes the lead.

You'll study and use equipment to create digital content for Radio, Television/Video, Audio Production (Podcasting) and Social Media.

You will be acquiring technical experience and knowledge and skills across the three inter-connected areas. You'll also contribute to our BOOM Student Radio station too. Your content creation skills will increase significantly.

Assessment is hands-on and project-based, with minimal written work—so it is all about practical experience and creativity.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English, or Certificate: Broadcast Media (Level 4). Entry subject to interview and portfolio.

Progression Routes

Relevant courses at SCQF Level 6 or 7.
