This hands-on course will develop your practical investigative and experimental skills across a range of topics in Horticulture and Science.

Course content includes:

Design landscaped areas; Earth resources; Living environment; Living organisms; Soils and plant nutrition; Managing and maintaining an environmental area; Survey and report on the condition of the environment; Chemistry in Life; Sustainable food production.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 (2 at B), or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.

Progression Routes

HNC Applied sciences at UHI Moray or the Environmental Science degree within UHI.
