This course is suited to those thinking about a career in construction. It is an ideal course for school leavers to develop various construction-based skills, with a focus on designing and manufacturing products and developing cross over skills that can be used throughout the construction industry.

It includes classroom and workshop-based activities and supports students on to further study or employment.

You will develop skills and knowledge in various disciplines within the construction industry, including practical skills in a workshop environment.

Entry Requirements

National 3 English, Maths and a science or technological subject. Interview and practical skills test.

Progression Routes

National Progression Award (NPA) construction or any SCQF level 5 courses in engineering, construction and motor vehicle at West Lothian College.
