Content includes:

Hand fitting techniques for component production; Wiring and testing electrical equipment and circuits; Forming and assembling electrical cable enclosures and support systems; Practical electronics, building digital and analogue circuits; Essential skills in numeracy, communication, team-work and problem solving; IT skills, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphics.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English, Maths or Application of Maths (Maths preferred) and a technological subject.

Progression Routes

Relevant NC programme at Level 6.
