Content

This 18-week Short Full-Time course teaches content creation, including video, camera and podcasting. The emphasis is on hands-on projects and teamwork. You will be assessed through practical projects and it is suitable for beginners and those with basic experience. There are no exams.

You'll learn how to respond to a creative brief, plan and execute content creation for a variety of outputs including; Radio, Television, Video, Podcasts etc.

You’ll learn the tricks and techniques to create engaging content designed to entertain or inform audiences.

You'll contribute to our BOOM Student Radio station too, and have the opportunity to work on external projects

No formal entry requirements.

Progression Routes

After successful completion you can join the Short Full-Time Intermediate Certificate: Broadcast Media at SCQF Level 5 starting in February of the following year
