This HND Electronic Engineering course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you'll need to work, or to undertake further study, in the sector. With ever changing and exciting developments in the electrical and electronic industry, including Industry 4.0, in the sector, this is an area of high end growth. Employment opportunities exist as an engineer in electrical and electronics design, manufacture, maintenance, testing or fault finding. This course enables engineers to develop their skills and competence to a higher level across a wide range of modern engineering electrical and electronic systems.
If you successfully complete Year 1 you will achieve HNC Electronic Engineering.

Analogue and digital electronics; Programmable logic devices (PLDs); Power supply circuits; High-level engineering software; Fault finding; DC and AC networks; Microcontroller; Maths for Engineering; Communication practical skills; PCB design and manufacture; Electrical networks; Active filters; Electronics project
1 Higher in either Maths, English or a technical subject or, NC Engineering.
