This part time electronic engineering course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to work in the electronics/electrical sector.

Attendance is one day a week for two years. Embedded within this framework are the 12 units required to obtain an HNC in Electronics.

Contents Include:

IT applications; Electronic circuit construction; Analogue circuits; Combinational digital electronic circuits; High level engineering programming; DC and AC networks; Electronic testing skills
Maths for engineering; Communication practical skills; PCB design; Electrical networks; Active filters; Sequential logic circuits

Entry Requirements

1 Higher in Maths, English, Physics or a Technical subject, or NC Engineering or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
