Travel and tourism is an exciting and enjoyable industry to work in. If you’d like to work with people and help them to have a fabulous visit or holiday experience, this course will develop the skills and knowledge you need. Like all our tourism courses, it’s fun, modern, and completely relevant to the current tourism industry.

With this Level 6 course, you’ll look in detail at global tourism and how important it is to the economy, how we can sell tourist destinations, and what it’s got to offer visitors. You’ll learn what’s involved in areas of the industry such as Travel Products and Services where tailored holidays and cruising is explored. You will study Scottish Tourism, learning what’s involved in Business and Leisure Destinations and will have the opportunity to experience tourist attractions in Scotland, first hand, as part of a study visit.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Entry subject to interview.
