This course is designed to equip candidates with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for further study within the field of beauty care and/or make-up or to enter employment at a junior level within these sectors.

Course content includes:
Facial Skin Care; Day Make-up; Basic Corrective Make-up; Manicure; Bridal and Evening Make-up; Face Painting; Character and Theatrical Make-up; Hair, Beauty and Make-up Competition Skills; Applying Practical Skills; Hair, Beauty and Make-up Portfolio Presentation; Selling Skills; Eye Enhancements.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English. Interview.

Progression Routes

Relevant Make-Up Artistry courses at SCQF Level 6 or above.
