This course focuses on the underpinning knowledge and principles required for working in an industrial setting. The majority of students on this programme have relevant industrial experience or are undertaking work based training programmes simultaneously.

You will study:
Principles of Chemical Engineering; Heat and Mass Transfer; Unit Operations Safety Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Laboratory Studies; Chemical Laboratory Project

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths and a science subject, preferably Chemistry plus 4 subjects at National 4; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and a group task.

Progression Routes

HND Chemical Process Technology or relevant degree programme.
