This qualification encompasses everything needed for a successful career within the ever-expanding and increasingly popular beauty sector. The course is designed to offer you the skills, knowledge and understanding of a range of Beauty and Aesthetic therapies. You will be trained using leading product and beauty innovations from a wide range of brand partnerships including Caci, Spa Finders, Dermalogica, Mylash, CND, Louella belle and Ellisons.

You'll learn about:

Anatomy and Physiology; Facial Therapy Treatments; Face and Body Electro Therapy; Product Knowledge; Professional Salon Skills; Bespoke Spa Rituals to Include Exfoliation, Warm Oil & Dead Sea Mud Wraps; Beauty Therapy: Graded Unit 1

Options chosen from:

Eyelash Enhancements; Contemporary Aesthetic Treatments; Eyebrow Artistry; Nail Enhancements.

Work experience opportunities within prestigious salons and spa’s are included as part of this course.

Entry Requirements

NC Professional Beauty Therapy (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.

Progression Routes

HND Beauty Therapy (SCQF Level 8) or progression to employment or university.
