This course will lead to the SQA BSL Level 4 qualification. Learners will develop techniques in communicating in various social and transactional contexts. The course also includes: using online resources; using the appropriate facial expressions; viewing signed presentations and taking notes; describing the placement of objects; using the correct timelines; using directional verbs. Learners will focus on topics such as food and drink, leisure activities, weather, describing people; countries and will learn how to structure simple sentences using BSL grammar and syntax.
Thursday 6-8pm.
No formal entry requirements. An interest in learning BSL is required. This course follows on from our Introduction to BSL course, but you do not have to complete the Introduction to apply for this course.
