This Access to Humanities course will introduce you to a range of social science subjects and is designed for adults returning to study after at least five years out of full-time education who wish to progress to university level study.
Course subjects include:
Psychology; History; Modern Studies; Sociology; Geography; Philosophy; Communication; Mathematics or Numeracy; IT.
The course also includes a class in 'Preparation for Higher Education' which, combined with guidance, aims to help you reach your full potential. The classes on offer are assessed by continuous assessment throughout the year.
Candidates must meet SWAP criteria. As there are no formal entry requirements, selection will be based on application form, interview (including written task), reference and evidence of academic potential.
HNC or HND level study at Glasgow Clyde College or other colleges.
Arts and social sciences degree, or a degree in primary education at University of the West of Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Strathclyde, Stirling University or Open University.
