Are you interested in creative writing but lack the necessary qualifications for further study and employment? If so, this course is for you! Industries such as film, TV, podcasting, digital content creation, social media, gaming and literature all depend heavily on creative writing input and the imaginative powers of its authors. This course will provide you with the creative and technical skills in order to work collaboratively across and beyond the sector.

As part of this course, students will have the opportunity to gain a *National 5 English qualification and gain practical skills in relation to professional industries.

Course units include: Creative Writing, Creating Media Content and Marketing.

Over the academic year, students will develop a portfolio of writing in media of their choice and present these in an end of year NCL Creative Writing Exhibition.
