This course offers you an introduction into the world of Social Sciences, Law, and Criminology. You will cover various social science subjects such as Criminology and Psychology as well as looking at its application to the Law and law enforcement. This offers an insight into the varied aspects of the legal sector and the many career options available including developing the skills and experience required for applications to the police.

Criminology; Social issues; Psychology; Communication; ICT; and, Personal fitness.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5. Interview. Some community experience either work or voluntary is also desireable.

Progression Routes

Moving onto another level 6 programme in Social Science or Social Science with Police Studies, or an HNC course such as HNC Social Sciences.
