There has never been a better time to study the social sciences. Whether its gaining an understanding of the impact of technological change on society, new social movements, crime, climate change and the environment, awareness of mental health and wellbeing, social problems such as discrimination, inequality and poverty, the social sciences are there to investigate and provide informed explanations.

This exciting and relevant course includes social science subjects such as sociology, psychology, criminology, philosophy, social anthropology, social research, counselling and a historical/political investigation of contemporary issues. Through studying perspectives on 21st Century society and culture you will aim to develop a range of essential skills that will improve your communication skills, self-awareness and confidence, digital skills, self-management, social intelligence and innovation skills.
