Open University in Scotland

Content

Learning a language and understanding how languages work opens doors to other cultures and communities, offering a richer experience of the world than most tourists ever encounter. It also provides a strong foundation for success in the global workplace. On this flexible degree, you'll study two modern languages, choosing from French, German and Spanish, or combine one with English language studies. You'll explore how language reflects and shapes communication, culture and identity while developing your own proficiency and confidence. On completion, you'll be a culturally aware and independent communicator with skills that are highly valued in today’s diverse, interconnected world.
