This course is for people interested in social issues and wanting to develop knowledge in Social Science subjects or obtain qualifications that can help you progress to study Social Sciences further.

The course includes the following subjects:

Sociology (the study of people in social groups); Psychology (the study of the mind and behaviour); History (the study of the known pasts); Politics (study of authority and government); Geography (study of the environment and its effect on humans).

You will also have an opportunity to develop numeracy, communication and employability skills.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 preferably including English or a social science subject.
