The NHS is overrun with the diseases that are all around us, but what if they could be effectively managed or prevented? Our course on physical activity and health has been developed to teach our students how physical activity and exercise can help to combat some of the most common diseases that we are faced with in our day-to-day lives.

We have developed this course with a multidisciplinary approach to help you develop your knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in industry, health, education or pursue postgraduate research.

Entry Requirements

2021 entry requirements

Standard entry:
4 Highers at BBBC including a science subject plus English, Maths and a science subject at National 5. Higher Physical Education will be accepted instead of a science subject if studied alongside Higher Maths.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at BCCC including a science subject at B plus English, Maths and a science subject at National 5. Higher Physical Education will be accepted instead of a science subject if studied alongside Higher Maths.

For entry to year 2 you require 3 Advanced Highers at BBC including Biology.
