The BA (Hons) History and Theology is led by Highland Theological College UHI and the UHI Centre for History, both of which possess recognised expertise in their respective fields. This joint degree provides a distinctive study opportunity combining two different but complementary subjects
The history element provides a thorough examination of medieval, early modern and modern Britain, Europe and the wider world. The theology element provides for the study of all the main traditions, although Highland Theological College UHI stands in the evangelical and Reformed tradition of Christian theology.
You will have access to recognised experts in both disciplines with specific research interests that are reflected in their teaching. Highland Theological College UHI is recognised by the Church of Scotland, the United Free Church and other denominations as a training provider.
You can study full time or part time, and modules are taught in one week blocks so you can fit your studies around your personal circumstances.
You will have access to a wealth of resources through the UHI Libraries and Electronic Resources and Highland Theological College UHI's impressive library has over 60,000 titles, including three special collections.
