This Certificate of Higher Education enables healthcare support staff to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to underpin effective practice. You’ll develop a wide range of practical skills and competencies, while exploring essential learning, biological, social, political, ethical and psychological concepts. You’ll also build valuable numeracy, literacy, IT, communication and cognitive skills.

Entry Requirements

You must have the support of your employer and remain in employment while studying towards this certificate. You must also be working in a healthcare setting for a minimum of two days per week.

Computer and internet access required.
