This course offers hands-on experience in digital forensics, cyber security, AI, networking, and emerging technologies, while also teaching you how to create modern, professional websites using HTML5 and CSS. You will build strong problem-solving skills through software programming with small Basic and visual basic and develop a solid understanding of how computer systems and networks operate. You will also explore the creative side of technology through computer games development, covering game design, developing media assets, programming, and testing.

You will study:
NPA Computer Games Development; Software Development (Visual Basic programming); Creating & Evaluating Software (Small Basic programming); Artificial Intelligence; Emerging Digital Technologies; Computer Networking; Cyber Security; Animation Fundamentals; Computer Hardware & Software; Digital Forensics; Introduction to HTML5 coding; Website Design & Development.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant subject at National 4 plus 2 subjects at National 3 including English, or Certificate: Computing with Computer Games Design and Cyber Security (Level 4), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
