This course aims to prepare you for employment in the computing and digital media industries. It will strengthen and extend your knowledge within a broad range of computing and media disciplines, both practical and theoretical.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge in a variety of areas, such as computer hardware and networking, academic writing, projects and website development.
Course content includes:
Website Development; Data Security; Academic Skills; Hardware and Systems; Network Literacy; Maths; Software Development; Group Project; Digital Media: Still Images; Games Development; Digital Media: Moving Images; and Web Apps: Spreadsheets.
4 subjects at National 5 (2 at B) including an English based subject; or Computing and Digital Media: Introduction (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
