This is an entry-level course designed to provide students with the skills, understanding, and practical ability required to progress to a higher-level course in this area. You will gain essential, hands-on experience and knowledge of the Built Environment.

Content includes:

The Construction Industry and Principles of Building Design; Built Environment Design Project; Sustainability in the Built Environment; Construction Methods; Mathematics inc. Structural Mechanics; Surveying/Measurement; Drawing/Sketching; Model Making; Material and Testing; Renewables; Information and Communication Technology.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 4 including Maths or Applications of Maths
