Content

This course offers a great introduction to Make-up Artistry, giving you the chance to unleash your creativity in hair and makeup. It’s fun, fascinating, and completely industry-led, developing both your practical skills and technical knowledge.

Here’s just some of what you may study:

you’ll learn the basic principles of fashion and Instagram makeup and then research the latest trends and produce your own ‘looks’ on models; you will learn bridal, evening, and editorial makeup techniques and then produce a finished look; you’ll learn to shampoo, style, dress, and finish hair, which may include designing looks for long hair, current fashion trends, and creating total looks; an introduction to making headdresses for the makeup industry; you’ll take part in work experience within different venues to enhance your makeup and hair skills and start to network within your industry; you’ll have the opportunity to compete in ‘in-house’ competitions, which could lead to competing in a national Make-up Artistry competition.
