Join these stimulating, project-based, interdisciplinary courses and respond to a range of creative briefs designed to challenge, motivate, and inspire.

Explore a variety of media, processes, and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, film, and photography. Develop your personal work and projects, with modules in portfolio-building and personal development planning. These courses form the first two years of the BA (Hons) Art and Contemporary Practices.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers at C or above, or Foundation Apprenticeship Creative and Digital Media, or NC Art and Design, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. A portfolio of your work must be presented at interview.

For some optional modules you will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
