This course helps you develop the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively at supervisory level in the hospitality industry. While the first year of the course covers both practical and theoretical skills, the second year focuses on providing you with the necessary managerial knowledge and skills for a junior management position.

You'll study:
Food and beverage service; Licenced premises operations; Managing organisations; Accommodation management; Managing human resources in the hospitality industry.

Relevant HNC. Interview.

Progression Routes

Successful students may be able to progress to a relevant degree course at Edinburgh Napier University, Glasgow Caledonian University or University of the West of Scotland
