This SCQF Level 5 programme will develop your hand skills with regards to Trowel Skills incorporating Brickwork which are required to be completed within large or small construction projects.

Subjects Include:
Half Brick Walling: An Introduction; One Brick Walling: An Introduction; Fundamentals of Cavity Walling; Block Walling: An Introduction; Simple Arch Construction; Simple Decorative Brickwork; Setting-out; Levelling using spirit levels or Theodolite; Health & Safety, Core skills (ICT, Numeracy & Communications) Employability.

Entry Requirements

National 5 in a technological subject plus 4 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths, or Certificate: Construction Futures, or other relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
