developing practical hand skills; use of woodworking machines and power tools; understanding 'marking out' details; working from workshop drawings; exploring construction industry techniques; real craft project; site visit to a local building site; and essential skills.
Relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to interview and practical test.
