This is a fantastic Level 5 certificated hospitality course. This course gives students the chance to develop their bakery skills and will give them the practical experience needed to work as a baker or cake decorator.

It is very practical, and includes baking goods to sell to the public in our College refectories.

Course content includes:
Craft Baking; Bread Making; Patisserie; Cake Decorating: An introduction; Cake Decoration: Gateaux Finishing Processes; Pastry and dough products.

Entry Requirements

English and Maths at National 4. Interview and skills test.
