NQ Beauty with Make-up Artistry is an exciting introduction to prepare you for work in the Beauty or Make-up industry, or entry to higher level courses. It offers a wide range of cosmetic application techniques designed to develop your creative flair. You will develop creative skills in the application of various make-up techniques and learn the basic skills in face and eye treatments and related subjects to NQ Level 5.

During this NQ Beauty with Make-Up Artistry Course you will develop creative skills in the application of various make-up techniques and learn the basic skills in face and nail treatments and related subjects to NQ Level 5.

During training you will initially work on fellow classmates and then progress to working on real clients. You will also be required to model for treatments yourself.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.

Progression Routes

You could move into jobs in the beauty industry, spas, cruise ships or progress onto further courses to develop your skills further.
