This course is for those who have completed SVQ level 2 or SCQF level 5 hairdressing or those who already have some skills and experience of hairdressing. It will refine your skills, and knowledge. It can help secure entry to HNC study or an entry-level position/apprenticeship in the industry. You will develop skills to creatively cut hair, creatively colour hair using advanced techniques, provide colour correction services and hair smoothing treatments, creatively set and dress hair using advanced techniques and consult, plan and assess to deliver services. A work placement is included within this course.

Entry Requirements

SVQ Hairdressing at SCQF Level 5; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Entry is based on successful interview including a skills test.
