This course is for those who have completed SVQ Hairdressing at SCQF level 5 hairdressing or those who already have some skills and experience of hairdressing. It will refine your skills, and knowledge.
The course covers:
Creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques, creatively colour hair using advanced techniques, colour correction services, creatively set and dressing advanced techniques, consult, plan and assess Optional units include provide hair smoothing treatments, artistic design in hair cutting and styling, artistic design in colouring.
Work placement is undertaken within the course.
SVQ Hairdressing at SCQF Level 5; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Entry is based on successful interview including a skills test.
