This course gives you a great introduction to hairdressing, developing your creative and practical skills, and technical knowledge. You’ll train in one of our on-campus commercial salons, working with real clients, as you learn to cut, colour and style.

Subjects include: Shampoo and condition; Ladies haircutting; Styling and blow drying; Colouring; Setting and winding; Long hair.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

NC Hairdressing (Level 6) or other relevant course at SCQF Level 6.
