This course builds on your existing skills, taking them to a more advanced and creative level. You'll hone your artistic flair and technical expertise through a curriculum that's tailored to the fast-changing industry.

Subjects include: Cutting and combination techniques; Creative colouring techniques; Styling and dressing long hair; and Consultation techniques and general salon duties.

Entry Requirements

Hairdressing (Level 5), or other relevant hairdressing qualification at SCQF Level 5.

Progression Routes

A relevant course at SCQF Level 7 or employment.
