This course will provide the knowledge, skills and understanding required to become a beauty therapist. This exciting course has been designed to ensure the relevance of units meets the beauty industry requirements and allows for a smooth transition into higher education.

Students carry out treatments during term time on clients in our salons that are equipped with the latest equipment and technology.

This is a fast-paced course delivering the underpinning knowledge in both therapeutic and aesthetic treatments, including body massage, manual and electrical facial treatments, gel extensions, tanning, and brow and lash treatments. These are key for progression into Higher education and meet the requirements of employers.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
