Do you have previous hairdressing experience and a passion for hair? Would you like to explore your creativity as a hairdresser and challenge yourself to broaden your skills? Are you good with people, hardworking and creative? Then this could be the course for you! The practical activities and knowledge based tasks will enable you to enhance your existing commercial hairdressing techniques and perform at a higher level.

Units may include:

Creative Haircutting; Creative Hair Colouring (including Colour Correction); Styling and Dressing Hair Creatively; Developing and Enhancing Your Creativity; Creating a Total Look; Technology in Hairdressing; Sustainable Hairdressing; Enterprise Activities.

Entry Requirements

Hairdressing - Certificate in Commercial Salon Skills (Level 5) or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5 plus relevant experience.

Hairdressing - Certificate in Creative Salon Skills (Level 6)
