Content

Reignite your passion for learning and open doors to new academic and career possibilities. It provides a structured and supportive framework for refreshing academic skills, developing confidence in communication and research, and investigating the relationships between education and society. Candidates can use the course to apply for Primary Teaching or alternatively they may wish to progress onto alternative degree or college programmes.

Course Content:

Psychology & Criminology; Sociology & Modern Studies; Communications and Literature (Higher level); Mathematics (National 5 Applications); Preparation for Higher Education; Community Engagement & Volunteering.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are required.

You must have been out of full-time education for at least three years.

You should have good communication skills, which will be assessed during the application process.

Selection is based on your application, interview with a written task, and proof of academic potential.

Progression Routes

Progression to a variety of university programmes in Primary Education, Art or Social Science degrees at various universities or HNC Social Sciences.
