Kilmarnock Campus
The course gives you a great introduction to the skills, attributes, and knowledge required to become a professional Facial Therapy Spa Therapist. Due to spa and beauty being such a fast-changing industry, our aim is always to ensure that your course develops the current skills and knowledge required for positive progression, therefore some of what you study on the course may change.
Here's just some of the units you may study: Facial Skincare; Anatomy and Physiology; Health and Safety; Consultation and Customer Care skills.
You'll also develop your skills through working in the college's commercial training salons and helping at promotional events, such as campus wellbeing days.
4 subjects at National 5 or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
Upon successful course completion, you may have the opportunity to progress to the Contemporary Facialist Technician. Alternatively, progress to a role in a salon spa.
