This exciting practical course provides you with the training needed to pursue a career in barbering. You will study a combination of theory and practical units to complete the SVQ 2 Barbering certificate.

Consult, assess, plan and prepare for hair, barbering, beauty, nails, wellbeing and holistic services; Cut facial hair; Cut and clipper hair using barbering techniques; Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp; Dry, style and finish Hair using barbering techniques; Instruct and advise on products and services.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English preferred.
