This course offers a great introduction to the hairdressing industry. You’ll learn hands-on, basic, practical hairdressing skills in ladies’ hair cutting, colouring and styling. You’ll also get a chance to develop your own creative flair and talents as you start working towards a successful career.

Units include:
Health and safety; Careers options and choices; Product awareness; Prepare and assist in workplace environment; Working with customers and colleagues; Hairdressing practical skills; Introduction to hair cutting skills; Introduction to hair colouring skills.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Interview and written and skills tests.
