The BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation is the only course in Scotland accredited by The British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers and therefore recognised in America, Canada and Australia. It is a unique degree program with entry points every year with recognised qualifications that would allow employment opportunities.

The progression through Edinburgh College or City of Glasgow College by completing the HNC in soft tissue (1st year) and HND in Sports therapy (2nd year) whilst attaining an ‘A’ in each year's Graded Unit modules. The first 3 years of the degree program are mainly taught at college, with the 4th year taught mainly at QMU.

Year 3:
Exercise testing and prescription; Understanding and appraising the evidence for practice; Musculoskeletal management in sports rehabilitation 1; Practice-based learning in sports rehabilitation 1; Environment, society and sports rehabilitation; Population, health and lifestyle considerations in sports rehabilitation.

Year 4:
Musculoskeletal management in sports rehabilitation 2; Reasoning and decision making in sports rehabilitation; Practice-based learning in sports rehabilitation 2; Leadership and enterprise for practice; Applying skills of critical enquiry (project).
