With a focus on coaching and leading others in adventure sports and outdoor activities, this course gives you the opportunity to advance your experience and qualifications, while enhancing your employability.
Developing your personal skills and abilities in adventure sports such as canoeing, paddle-boarding and kayaking (in white water and surf), rock climbing and hill walking with overnight expeditions as well as a residential field trip experience. The skills, experiences and qualifications provided throughout this course will allow you to gain (or further your) employment in the outdoor sector and/or progress to courses of further study.
5 subjects at National 5 including English, or NQ Outdoor Activities and Leadership (Level 5), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
You should show active involvement in sport and fitness activities.
