This beauty therapy course will provide you with a broad understanding and knowledge of the beauty sector and related industries. The course is delivered on a full-time basis and will provide you with a qualification and a defined skill set which reflects the skills essential for a successful career in the Beauty sector. You will study a range of subjects including Eye Treatments, Facial Skin Care, Hand and Foot Care, and other skill sets related to the beauty industry. This course includes a large practical element whilst promoting self-directed study and developing essential employability skills for the world of work.

The main aim of the course is to introduce you to the professional principles and practices of Beauty Therapy which will help you to make informed future career choices and allows progression into further study within this subject area. You will work in our salons within ‘The Retreat’ at the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing which provides a realistic working environment therefore giving you valuable practical experience.

3 subjects at National 4. Interview.
