An Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector offers a combination of all of these skills so that successful students will gain an insight to all of these areas and can potentially progress to their chosen specialism.

You willl learn:

Nail care; Nail art; Skin care; Make-up; Hair styling - current techniques in long hair; Shampooing and conditioning hair; Plaiting and twisting hair; Colouring hair using temporary colour; Health and safety in the salon; Competition skills.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. National 4 English preferred. Interview.
