You will learn how to perform hand and foot treatments with creative nail finishes including gel polishes. You will become skilled in the use of tip and overlay nail enhancements using acrylic and how to apply nail art. You will develop knowledge and understanding of nail care and the expected client care skills to adopt within this creative industry. The course will also provide you with knowledge relating to health and safety requirements within the industry.
You'll learn the necessary skills to work within the nail service industry. You will develop skills relating to the following technical services:
Tip and overlay; Gel nails; Nail art; Hand and foot care; Manicure and Creative Nail Finishes; Social media skills; and, Commercial experience.
2 subjects at National 4. Interview.
This course leads to self-employment or salon work as a nail technician.
