Would you like to have an exciting and rewarding career in Barbering? This course will provide knowledge and skills to be a junior barber and is based on the Barbering National Occupational Standards, recognised by the UK's leading barbering association and professional hairdressing body.

Training at D&A Barber School will increase your confidence and employment prospects as we have an exceptional standard of facilities and experienced lecturers. By training with us, you will gain skills working on clients using professional products such as American Crew/Sebastian.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of Hairdressing (VTCT) Diploma Level 1 (2 subjects at National 4 are recommended but not essential), or relevant industry experience.

Progression Routes

Progression onto SVQ in Barbering at SCQF Level 6 course and/or employment as a Junior Barber in a commercial salon or self-employment.
